As my wedding season for 2017 draws to a close it occurred to me I’ve visited lots of new venues to DJ this year. These bookings are usually a result of word of mouth recommendations from people who’ve had a good time with us at other parties.
Emma and Kieran’s wedding in October at Bartley Lodge was one such booking.
I’ll let him tell the story :
From the first meeting we knew that Simon was the right choice.
He made us feel so at ease and was straight from the start that he is not your typical wedding DJ. This suited us down to the ground – we didn’t want the cheesy tunes but instead wanted a decent list of songs that would really get people on the dance floor.
He was so different from other DJ’s we saw – one particular who also wanted to even go round taking their own selfies with our guests – needless to say, we didn’t go with them.
His equipment and lighting was absolutely top class and you can tell that he really cares about what he does”.
“What a party it was!! A few of our guests commented on how good Simon was and I even provided his details to a few people.
We would highly recommend Simon and would like to thank him for a brilliant party!”
I really enjoyed this night and Bartley Lodge and the room looked great with red and orange uplighting to tie in with the autumn theme of their wedding. This was the last of the New Forest Hotels venues we had DJ’d and my team and I are looking forward to another busy season in 2018 as House DJs at their 4 star Burley Manor Hotel.
After we help their corporate party bookings celebrate Christmas!
If you would like to talk about your expectations from a wedding DJ we’re always up for a coffee and a chat!
