My first job was at the age of 15 in a small textile factory in Northampton making carpet pattern books during the summer holidays.
Almost all my money went on music and a year later I found out how fun it was playing it for other people when I joined my Local Hospital Radio Station in Northampton.
That was the start of a 20 year career in broadcasting which took me around the UK from the Home Counties to Leeds, Birmingham and London before I joined Wave 105 in 2006 to become the voice of their weekday afternoon show.
Away from radio I’ve held DJ residencies at clubs in Birmingham and hosted events and parties from 60 to 60,000 people.
My background in music radio programming gives me a unique advantage as an event host and DJ.
I’m a keen cyclist, enthusiastic cook and Guinness World Record holder.
